Sex Abuse, the dirty little secret. Many years ago a 6 year old girl was being sexually abused by an older brother. The mother walked in and caught them. She sent the boy out of the room and then told the young girl. “We don’t talk about this to anyone”. The abuse went away and so did the memory. Later in life the memory and the pain came back to cause many problems in the lady’s life. We feel empathy for the untold millions of sex abuse victims and what they had to go through then and now.
